Circular addressed to all Company Service Providers in terms of the Company Service Providers Act – Regulatory Submissions

A revised Annual Compliance Return template for 2023 submissions is now mandatory for all company service providers, featuring automatic field blackouts based on authorization class and enhanced data fields in Sheet 18. The requirement to submit audited financial statements is waived for individual and civil partnership CSPs, as their financial data is now captured within the updated return, while Class C and over-threshold Class A and B body corporate CSPs must still provide audited statements and auditor reports. The Annual Financial Return is not due this year because the prescribed form has not yet been issued, and no supporting balance sheet is required for the Statement of Solvency from individual CSPs. All submissions must be made via the Licence Holder Portal within four months of the financial year end, with no extensions granted, and documents signed with qualified electronic signatures under eIDAS are accepted as valid.
