Submission Dates for Statistical Reports to the Central Bank of Luxembourg

Ladies and Gentlemen,

We have the honour to refer to Circular BCL 2002/171 regarding the modification of statistical data collection to send you, by this letter, the schedule for the submission of monthly and quarterly statistical reports during the year 2006.

We remind the relevant declarants that the Central Bank of Luxembourg must transmit the monthly statistical report to the European Central Bank within a period of 15 working days and the quarterly statistical reports within a period of 28 working days following the period to which they relate. It is therefore essential that institutions strictly respect the submission dates defined in this circular so that the Central Bank of Luxembourg can meet its commitments within the European System of Central Banks (ESCB).

In this context, we also wish to draw your attention to Communication 2004/C195/101 of the European Central Bank regarding the application of sanctions for infringements of statistical reporting obligations relating to the balance sheet of monetary financial institutions.

1. Report S 1.3 "Monthly Balance Sheet of UCITS"

The monthly statistical report S 1.3 "Monthly Balance Sheet of UCITS" must reach the Central Bank of Luxembourg within 10 working days following the end of the month to which it relates.

The submission schedule below lists the exact dates by which the aforementioned table must be submitted, at the latest, to the Central Bank of Luxembourg during the year 2006.

2. Quarterly Statistical Reports S 2.10 "Breakdown by Country", S 2.11 "Breakdown by Currency" and S 2.12 "Breakdown by Economic Sector"

The quarterly statistical reports S 2.10 "Breakdown by Country", S 2.11 "Breakdown by Currency" and S 2.12 "Breakdown by Economic Sector" must reach the Central Bank of Luxembourg within 20 working days following the end of the month to which they relate.

The submission schedule below lists the exact dates by which the aforementioned tables must be submitted, at the latest, to the Central Bank of Luxembourg during the year 2006.
