2019-01-28 | Circulaire BCL 2019/242Added · Updated
Effective 1 April 2019, credit institutions are required to submit the S 0.1 "Daily deposit report" to the Central Bank of Luxembourg every 15 days instead of daily. Simultaneously, the Central Bank of Luxembourg ceases the collection of off-balance sheet title holding data from banks for specific institutional sectors, including central counterparties, other financial intermediaries, financial auxiliaries, captive financial institutions and non-institutional lenders, insurance companies, and pension funds. The reporting instructions for the TPTBHR report will be adapted and published on the Central Bank of Luxembourg's website.

CIRCULAR BCL 2019/242
Adaptation of the frequency of report S 0.1 "Daily deposit report" Adaptation of report TPTBHR (Title by title - Off-balance sheet data - Resident clients)
Dear Madam, Dear Sir,
We refer to Circular BCL 2013/234 of 20 June 2013 concerning the introduction of a daily collection of information on deposits with credit institutions as well as to Circular BCL 2014/235 of 20 January 2014 relating to the modification of the statistical collection with credit institutions.

As the burden of collection increases constantly, the BCL has decided to reconsider the terms of submission of the S 0.1 "Daily deposit report". During this phase of reflection, it appeared that this report constitutes an important management tool in times of crisis, so that a pure and simple repeal cannot be considered. Thus, the BCL has decided to maintain the S 0.1 report but to reduce the frequency of submission of said statistical report. Thus, as of 1 April 2019, banks are no longer required to submit this report to the BCL on a daily basis but must submit it every 15 days. The BCL will adapt the calendar for submitting statistical reporting to provide the precise submission dates for the S 0.1 "Daily deposit report".
Please accept, Madam, Sir, the assurance of our perfect consideration.
