The Belgian Banking, Finance and Insurance Commission (CBFA) modifies periodic reporting templates (Scheme A, Book III) for credit institutions, investment firms, financial companies, and liquidation bodies to align with the revised own funds regulation. These changes introduce additional lines for hybrid capital instruments, detailed information on securitizations and operational risk losses, and concentration risk adjustments. Institutions are required to submit their own funds requirements based on these new reporting standards to the National Bank of Belgium and the CBFA starting December 31, 2010. The XBRL taxonomy modifications will be published by the end of September 2010.
