Survey for BIS Statistics on Foreign Exchange and OTC Derivatives Operations ___________________________________________________________________________ We address you to communicate the resolution adopted by this Institution, in the framework of compliance with the Statistics carried out by the Bank for International Settlements — BIS— (https://www.bis.org/statistics/rpfx25_announcement.htm). Regarding this, the financial entities detailed in the Annex to this communication must send information on their foreign exchange operations and activity in the Over the Counter (OTC) derivatives market. The lists of entities that must comply with at least one part of the survey were prepared based on their participation in the foreign exchange and OTC derivatives market. The survey must be completed with information corresponding to the periods and in the deadlines detailed below:

• Volume traded in the foreign exchange and OTC derivatives market during a period – based on the location of the reporting entity.
  The volumes traded by the reporting financial entities during the study month will be reported based on the location of their sales desk, even if they are branches or subsidiaries of foreign financial entities. The information covers spot operations and OTC type transactions. The study month for this survey is April 2025 and the submission deadline is 05/06/25.
• Data on the settlement of foreign exchange contracts -FX settlements- in the
  foreign exchange and OTC derivatives market during a period - based on global group. Data and volumes on currency operations settled by the reporting financial entities during the study month will be reported based on the global group. The information covers spot operations and OTC type currency transactions. The study month for this survey is April 2025 and the submission deadline is 05/06/25.

• Outstanding balances of OTC derivatives operations at the close of a period – on a
  consolidated basis.
  The notional balances and the gross market value of the contracts outstanding at the end of the month must be complied with, corresponding to OTC derivatives on exchange rates, interest rates, equities, commodities, credit, and others. Contracts outstanding as of 30/06/25 must be reported and their deadline will be 22/08/25. The surveys must be integrated using the spreadsheets that will be sent by email to the respective Information Regime Managers, and taking into account the instructions that will be attached for this purpose (original documents available at the following link: https://www.bis.org/statistics/triennialrep/guidelines_cbanks.htm).
