The Central Bank of the Republic of Argentina amends Circular CREFI-1 by replacing section 3.2 of Chapter I to require that entities hold at least 50% of the minimum net worth for a new class or 100% for their current class, whichever is greater, and by adding point 1.14 to Chapter II. This new point stipulates that the Central Bank will evaluate authorization requests based on project characteristics, service needs of the market, and the applicant's compliance with current regulatory requirements.
