Circular CSSF 22/825 — Data collection on inactive accounts and inactive safe deposit boxes
Institutions must submit annual data on inactive accounts and safe deposit boxes to the CSSF by 28 February, reflecting the situation as of 31 December. The submission requires an electronic template containing information shared with the Administration des Contributions Directes and additional supervisory details regarding account holder notifications and consignment procedures. This circular applies to credit institutions established in Luxembourg, their Luxembourg branches, and POST Luxembourg, and enters into force on 31 December 2022.
