Circular dated April 16, 2020 exempting banks for one year from complying with Clause Two of the January 11, 2016 instructions on concentrating credit portfolios for the largest 50 clients
The Central Bank of Egypt exempts banks for one year from the effective date of the decision from complying with Clause Two of the January 11, 2016 decision regarding limits on the concentration of banks' credit portfolios among the largest 50 clients and their related parties. This exemption applies to individual and sectoral risk management ratios specified in the April 7, 2019 circular, in light of the financial support needs arising from the coronavirus pandemic.
