Banks must not grant or renew credit facilities to non-bank credit entities unless their coding with the Central Bank is confirmed and they report to both the Central Bank's credit registration system and the Egyptian Credit Bureau. Existing debts owed by these entities shall be placed under liquidation if they fail to rectify their reporting situation within three months. Banks are responsible for notifying non-bank credit entities of this requirement.
