Circular dated December 5, 2019 regarding exempting beneficiaries of digital payments from commissions

The Central Bank of Egypt mandates that banks must not deduct any commissions from beneficiaries of payments sent through the Egyptian Automated Clearing House (EG-ACH), with the sole exception of the two Egyptian pounds fee charged by Bank Misr Company. This directive applies to all banks and takes effect immediately upon the date of the circular, December 5, 2019.
