The Central Bank of Egypt amends the initiative to support the tourism sector by allowing the deferral of all outstanding installments for up to three years, including the capitalization of yields on principal and the suspension of late payment fees. Banks are instructed not to classify regular facilities as irregular during the deferral period and retain the freedom to form necessary provisions for more than three months. The specified limits are advisory, requiring banks to evaluate each case individually, and the amendment remains effective for one year from its date.
