Circular dated November 15, 2023 regarding increasing the maximum limits for transactions on financial inclusion accounts, prepaid cards, and mobile payment services
The Central Bank of Egypt increases the maximum daily and monthly transaction limits for financial inclusion accounts, prepaid cards, and mobile payment services. For natural persons, the daily limit rises to 60,000 EGP and the monthly limit to 200,000 EGP. For verified micro-enterprises (Category A), the daily limit is set at 80,000 EGP and the monthly limit at 400,000 EGP. For unverified micro-enterprises and self-employed individuals (Category B), the daily limit is 60,000 EGP and the monthly limit is 200,000 EGP.
