Circular informing federal dependencies, parastatal entities, and the Attorney General of the Republic subject to Free Trade Agreements of the conversion to national currency for the second half of 2023, valid July 1 to December 31, 2023

The exchange rate of 17.5673 Mexican pesos per US dollar, determined by the Bank of Mexico on June 1, 2023, is established for converting procurement thresholds to national currency for the second semester of 2023, valid from July 1 to December 31, 2023. Specific threshold amounts in Mexican pesos are set for Federal Public Administration Dependencies and Parastatal Entities subject to listed Free Trade Agreements, such as $1,621,796.00 for goods and services contracts for dependencies and $8,108,960.00 for parastatal entities. Affected entities must apply these values to determine the applicable threshold based on contract value and type of public procurement.
