Circular Letter AVEC SILC VICOBA VESLA
The Banque de la République du Burundi mandates that all supervisory or initiating bodies for SILC, AVEC, VICOBA, VSLA, and tontine groups must register with the central bank and submit a list of the groups under their supervision. These entities are required to provide semi-annual and annual activity reports using specified formats and must ensure their supervised groups do not engage in illegal activities. A three-month deadline from the date of the circular is granted for initial registration and submission of required documentation.
