To the market in general
Subject: Availability of information from the Statement of Portfolio Composition (“CDA”) of investment funds regulated by CVM Instruction No. 555/14
Dear Sirs,
We refer to Circular Letter CVM/SIN No. 3, dated March 7, 2018, which communicated the reinstatement of the Asset Registry that supports portfolio information for investment funds regulated by CVM Instruction No. 555/14.
As a next step in the initiative to improve the functioning of the tool and the consistency of the information contained therein, we wish to inform you of the publication, on a monthly basis and effective from this date, of detailed information on the assets held by such investment funds through the CVM’s “Open Data Portal” tool.
The information can be consulted by accessing the link http://dados.cvm.gov.br/dataset/fi-doc-cda. For a better understanding of the data structure and how it is arranged, we suggest reading the summary of the specification contained there, as well as the “Data Dictionary” document also available on the Portal. Information on portfolios is available starting from January 2018.
This measure, which aligns with a historical request from market participants, academia, investors, and the general public, also seeks to correspond to initiatives currently underway by the Autarchy for the increasing availability and disclosure of information held by the Autarchy regarding its regulated entities, in a manner that is increasingly transparent, accessible, and organized, enabling its use and processing for various purposes.
In case of doubts regarding the use of the information base published from today, we request that an email be sent to the address sin@cvm.gov.br.
Sincerely,
