Subject: Extension of Deadline for Submission of Monthly Documents for Investment Funds – January 2013 Position

Dear Sirs/Madams,

As provided in Article 71, item II, of CVM Instruction No. 409/04, investment fund administrators must submit the following documents monthly through the Document Submission System available on the CVM website on the worldwide web, up to 10 (ten) days after the end of the month to which they refer:

a. Trial balance; b. Statement of Portfolio Composition and Diversification; and
c. Monthly Profile

However, considering that (i) the deadline for submitting documents related to the month of January of the current year expires on 2/10/2013, which is Carnival Sunday; (ii) the number of business days to prepare and submit the documents would be reduced; and (iii) it is common for work teams to be reduced on Ash Wednesday, the Board of this Commission, in a meeting held on this date, exceptionally extended the final deadline for submitting the documents in question, referring to the month of January 2013, to February 14, 2013.

Finally, we inform you that the full text of the decision in question will be made available for public consultation on the CVM website in due course.
