Circular Letter dated 4 August 2026 Regarding the Corporate Financial Inclusion Database
The Central Bank of Egypt requires banks to complete basic data for both borrowing and non-borrowing companies using the Unified Commercial Registry Number and upload this data to the National Corporate Financial Inclusion Database on a monthly basis. Banks must also declare the Unified Commercial Registry Number for medium, small, and micro-enterprises in the Egyptian Credit Information System (Score-I) once the Central Bank's infrastructure is ready. Compliance deadlines are set for end-December 2026 for borrowing companies and end-June 2027 for non-borrowing companies.
