Circular Letter No. 1,311 — Amends the Manual of Norms and Instructions (MNI)

CIRCULAR LETTER NO. 1,311

To Financial Institutions

We communicate that, as a result of Circular No. 970, of 11.21.85, amendments are introduced into the Manual of Norms and Instructions (MNI), as follows:

a) the norms regarding the Credit Document, models A, B, and C, and the regulation of the General Credit Transfer service are now codified, respectively, in MNI 16-8-3 and 16-10-9;

b) the norms regarding the Collection Slip and the regulation of the Collectible Collection Receipt service were re-codified, respectively, in MNI 16-8-2 and 16-10-8;

c) regarding the Collectible Collection Receipt, we clarify that, with respect to the norms governing the regulation of the Check and Other Papers Clearing Service, the provisions altered are those embodied in MNI 16-10-8-2-e and 16-10-8-11, and those included are described in MNI 16-10-8-2-d, 16-10-8-5, 16-10-8-10, and 16-10-8-12.

2. Consequently, the necessary sheets are attached to update the Manual of Norms and Instructions (MNI), with sections 3, 4, and 6 of MNI 4-3 also being amended.
