Circular Letter No. 1368 - Communication to Banking Establishments Regarding the Permissibility of the Maintenance Fee at Market Rates

CIRCULAR LETTER NO. 1368

To
Banking Establishments,

In view of the provisions contained in Decree-Law No. 2,283, of February 27, 1986, we communicate that the "maintenance fee" remains permitted at market rates and may be charged, for days of delay:

a) in matured operations from February 27, 1986, at the rate that has become practiced for the operation's modality, from that date;

b) in matured operations until February 27, 1986, in a cumulative manner:

• up to February 27, 1986, at the rate then practiced for the operation's modality;
• from February 27, 1986, in the manner of letter "a"

2. We remind you that the new rates should not exceed those in effect on February 27, 1986, deflated
   by the table referred to in the aforementioned Decree-Law.
