CIRCULAR LETTER No. 002883 ------------------------ Amends the ranges in transaction PESP550 of the Central Bank Information System (SISBACEN). Having regard to the provisions contained in article 2 of Circular No. 2.644, of 29.11.95, we inform that: I - the limit amount of checks exchanged in the specific sessions of the Check and Other Securities Clearing Service (SCCOP) is maintained at R$ 299.99 (two hundred and ninety-nine reais and ninety-nine centavos); II - the ranges in transaction PESP550 of the Central Bank Information System (SISBACEN), as from the base date of 06.12.99, shall comprise the following amounts in R$: a) range 1: from 0.01 to 89.99; b) range 2: from 90.00 to 139.99; c) range 3: from 140.00 to 299.99; d) range 4: from 300.00 to 599.99; e) range 5: from 600.00 to 999.99; f) range 6: from 1,000.00 to 2,499.99; g) range 7: from 2,500.00 to 4,999.99; h) range 8: from 5,000.00 to 9,999.99; i) range 9: from 10,000.00 to 24,999.99; j) range 10: from 25,000.00. 2. This Circular Letter enters into force on the date of its publication. 3. Circular Letter No. 2,825, of 2 December 1998, is revoked. Brasilia, 01 December 1999.
