CLARIFIES SUBMISSION OF CONSOLIDATED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS REFERRED TO IN RESOLUTION NO. 1,974/92.
TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THE PROVISIONS OF THE SOLE PARAGRAPH OF ART. 3 OF RESOLUTION NO. 1,974, OF 12/04/92, WE COMMUNICATE THAT:
ART. 1. INSTITUTIONS THAT CHOOSE, IMMEDIATELY, TO USE CONSOLIDATED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS, IN THE MANNER OF ART. 11 OF SAID RESOLUTION NO. 1,974/92, MUST FORWARD THEM TO THIS CENTRAL BANK - DEPARTMENT OF REGISTRATION AND INFORMATION - DECAD/ACCOUNTING AND ECONOMIC-FINANCIAL RECORDS DIVISION, ON PAPER, WHILE A PROPER METHODOLOGY AND FORM OF PRESENTATION ARE NOT DEVELOPED, WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE DELIVERY OF INDIVIDUAL BALANCE SHEETS/BALANCES IN MAGNETIC MEDIA OR, IN THE CASE OF AGENCIES ABROAD, THROUGH THE CENTRAL BANK INFORMATION SYSTEM - SISBACEN.
PARAGRAPH 1. ONCE EXERCISED, THE OPTION PROVIDED FOR IN THIS ARTICLE IS DEFINITIVE.
PARAGRAPH 2. THIS CONSOLIDATION MUST BE PROCESSED USING THE CODIFICATION AND TITLES OF THE ACCOUNTING PLAN OF THE INSTITUTIONS OF THE NATIONAL FINANCIAL SYSTEM - COSIF.
PARAGRAPH 3. OPERATIONAL LIMITS, AS PROVIDED FOR IN ITEM II OF ART. 3 AND IN ART. 8 OF THE MENTIONED RESOLUTION NO. 1,974/92, MUST BE CALCULATED BASED ON THE CONSOLIDATED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS REFERRED TO IN THIS ARTICLE.
ART. 2. THIS CIRCULAR LETTER ENTERS INTO FORCE ON THE DATE OF ITS PUBLICATION.
