Creates, within the scope of the Check and Other Instruments Clearing Service, return reasons 36 and 62 and extends reasons 57 and 58 for use in the Transfer Document - DOC "D".

Having regard to the provisions of paragraph I of art. 8 of Law No. 9.311, of 10.24.96, we communicate that:

I - the following reasons for the return of documents presented to the Check and Other Instruments Clearing Service (SCCOP) are instituted, to be used during the period of incidence of the Provisional Contribution on the Movement or Transfer of Values and of Credits and Rights of a Financial Nature - CPMF:

a) 36 - check issued with more than one endorsement - Law No. 9.311/96;

b) 62 - DOC "D" with a discrepancy in the indication of the CPF/CGC number or without indication of the type of account debited or credited;

II - return reasons 57 and 58, already existing, apply to the Transfer Document - DOC "D", as the case may be.

2. The operator of the SCCOP is tasked with disseminating the procedures and routines necessary for compliance with the provisions of this Circular Letter.

3. This Circular Letter enters into force on the date of its publication.
