CIRCULAR LETTER No. 002966 ------------------------ Amends return reason No. 57 of the Check and Other Instruments Clearing Service (SCCOP). We inform that, taking into account the provisions of Circular No. 772, of 8 April 1983, codified in MNI 6-2-1-34, and of Circular No. 3.030, of 12 April 2001, return reason No. 57 of the Check and Other Instruments Clearing Service (SCCOP) is amended, and shall henceforth read as follows: "57 - Divergence or non-completion of mandatory information in Bank Documents and Orders" 2. Reason 57 applies in cases of: I - absence or divergence in the indication of the recipient branch, the account number or the registration number of the beneficiary in the Individual Taxpayer Registry (CPF) or in the National Legal Entity Registry (CNPJ); II - non-completion of the fields "Sender", "Address", "CPF", "RG", "CNPJ", in the case of a transfer carried out in cash by a customer who does not hold a checking account at the remitting bank; III - non-completion of the field "No. of the sender's account", in the case of a transfer carried out by a customer who holds a checking account at the remitting bank. 3.
