The Head of the Financial System Monitoring Department (Desig), using the powers conferred by Articles 22, item I, letter “a”, and 71, item II, of the Internal Regulations of the Central Bank of Brazil, annexed to Ordinance No. 29,971, of March 4, 2005, in accordance with the provisions of Article 1 of Circular No. 3,567, of December 12, 2011, Article 3 of Circular Letter No. 3,540, of February 23, 2012, and considering the provisions of Resolution No. 4,292, of December 20, 2013,
RESOLVES:
Article 1. Entities that submit document code 3040 – Credit Risk Data, pursuant to the provisions of Resolution No. 3,658, of December 17, 2008, must report for each operation, in the manner established in the Layout and Filling Instructions for document 3040, available on the Central Bank of Brazil’s website, on the internet, at the electronic address www.bcb.gov.br/?DOC3040, the following fields:
I - Next Installment Date - to provide information regarding the date of the next open installment due;
II - Next Installment Value - to provide information regarding the value of the next open installment due.
III - Number of Installments - to provide information regarding the total number of contracted installments.
§ 1. The fields shall not be filled in the case of operations written off as losses, and of guarantees and sureties provided to the client.
Article 2. The specific identification code for portability, referred to in Article 4, sole paragraph, of Resolution No. 4,292, of December 20, 2013, must be reported in a specific field of Additional Information 0311 – Outflows / Portability of Operation, of Annex 26: Additional Information.
Article 3. The information necessary for the preparation of document 3040 can be consulted in the respective Filling Manual and Layout, available at the electronic address referred to in Article 1.
Article 4. This Circular Letter enters into force on the date of its publication, producing effect from the data base of:
I - May 2014, for the information referred to in Article 2;
II - August 2014, for the information referred to in Article 1, regarding all credit operations, except those related to credit card submodalities;
III – November 2014, for the information referred to in Article 1, regarding credit operations related to credit card submodalities.
