The Head of the Financial System Monitoring Department (Desig), in exercise of the authority conferred by Article 23, item I, clause "a", of the Internal Regulations of the Central Bank of Brazil, annexed to Ordinance No. 84,287, of February 27, 2015, based on Article 77, item III, of the aforementioned Regulations, in view of the provisions of Article 1 of Circular No. 3,567, of December 12, 2011, Article 3 of Circular Letter No. 3,540, of February 23, 2012, and based on Resolution No. 3,658, of December 17, 2008,
R E S O L V E S:
Article 1. Entities that submit document code 3040 - Credit Risk Data, pursuant to the provisions of Resolution No. 3,658, of December 17, 2008, must report for each credit operation, where applicable, in the manner established in the Layout and Filling Instructions for document 3040, available on the Central Bank of Brazil's website, on the internet, at the electronic address http://www.bcb.gov.br/?DOC3040, the following fields:
I - Additional Information on Banking Correspondents - to provide information regarding the authorized banking correspondent that intermediated the respective operation;
II - Additional Information on Exit by Debt Assumption - to provide information in cases where the credit operation is assumed by a new debtor;
III - Origin of Resources: FGTS - to specify the origin of resources directed when derived from the Time Service Guarantee Fund.
§ 1. The information referred to in items I, II, and III of the main text shall only be provided for credit operations contracted or renegotiated from the November 2015 reference date, or for those whose exit by debt assumption occurs from that reference date.
Article 2. The identification of the authorized banking correspondent must be reported in a specific field with code 1601 - Banking Correspondent Information, contained in Annex 26: Additional Information.
Article 3. The identification of the original debtor of the credit operation, in the debt assumption process, composed of "Person Type" and "CPF or CNPJ", must be reported in specific fields with code 0313 - Exits by debt assumption, contained in Annex 26: Additional Information.
Article 4. The information on credit operations contracted with resources from FGTS shall be provided with code 0213 – FGTS – Time Service Guarantee Fund, contained in Annex 4: Origin of Resources.
Article 5. The manuals, validation rules, the validator, as well as other information necessary for the preparation of document 3040, are available at the electronic address referred to in Article 1.
Article 6. This Circular Letter enters into force on the date of its publication.
