Circular Letter No. 3773 — Amends the Layout of Document 3040 - Credit Risk Data and the Manual of Information on Trading of Operations of the Credit Information System (SCR)

The Head of the Department of Monitoring of the Financial System (Desig), acting in substitution, under the authority conferred by Article 23, item I, letter “a”, of the Internal Regulations of the Central Bank of Brazil, annexed to Ordinance No. 84,287, of February 27, 2015, based on Article 77, item III, of the aforementioned Regulations, and in view of the provisions of Circular No. 3,567, of December 12, 2011,

RESOLVES:

Art. 1st The new versions of the Layout of Document 3040 – Credit Risk Data and the Manual of Information on Trading of Operations, of the Credit Information System (SCR), available on the Central Bank of Brazil’s website at the electronic address http://www.bcb.gov.br/?DOC3040, shall enter into force, effective from the September 2016 data base.

Art. 2nd The new versions include the following modifications:

I - In Annex 2 (“Nature of the Operation - NatuOp”) of the Layout of Document 3040: exclusion of domain 05, designated as “Acquired operations in negotiation with a person not part of the Financial System with substantial retention of risk and benefits or control by the intervenor or assignor”;

II - In Annex 3 (“Operation Modality - Mod”) of the Layout of Document 3040:

1. alteration of the description of domain 03 to “Discounted credit rights”;
2. inclusion, in domain 03, of subdomain 98, with the description “Other discounted credit rights”;

III - In item “C”, subitem 3, letter “b” of the Manual of Information on Trading of Operations:

1. alteration of the “Nature of the operation” described in the topic “Basic Data of the Operation” to “01 - Operations granted by the institution itself”;
2. alteration of the content of the topic “Additional Operation Information” to “Does not inform”.

Art. 3rd This Circular Letter enters into force on the date of its publication.
