Circular Letter No. CC/2022/00000035: Conditions for Exchanging Croatian Kuna for Euro Banknotes and Coins
The Bank of Portugal establishes the conditions for exchanging Croatian Kuna banknotes for Euro banknotes and coins at a fixed conversion rate of 7.53450 kunas per euro. Direct exchanges for individuals are permitted at specific Bank of Portugal treasury branches in Lisbon, Porto, Faro, Funchal, and Ponta Delgada between 1 January and 28 February 2023, with a daily limit of 8,000 kunas per person. Credit institutions may request exchanges via deposit for larger quantities, subject to justification.
