Subject: Financing and Capital Plan with reference date December 31, 2023 Within the scope of its functions, it is the responsibility of the Bank of Portugal to assess risks to financial stability, analyze how the realization of such risks may impact the financial system, and identify instruments that can be used to prevent the realization of these risks and/or mitigate their impact. Financing and Capital Plans are fundamental tools for the Bank of Portugal to fulfill this function, as well as for the fulfillment of the prudential supervision function.
