Dear Sirs, Madams,
Pursuant to the provisions of the single article of the law of June 28, 2000, amending the Grand Ducal Regulation of November 10, 1944, as amended, relating to exchange control, the Banque centrale du Luxembourg (BCL) and the Central Service for Statistics and Economic Studies (STATEC) are jointly responsible for compiling the balance of payments and the global external position of Luxembourg. Within the framework of collaboration between these two institutions, the BCL is responsible for statistical data collection from credit institutions and the Postal and Telecommunications Company.
The investigations into foreign direct investment concern all direct investment relationships that declarants have established in their capacity as subsidiaries, affiliated companies, or branches of a non-resident investor or with their own subsidiaries, affiliated companies, or branches located abroad.
