Subject: Update of statistical reporting instructions – S1.5 report
Dear Madam, Dear Sir,
We refer to the reporting instructions to inform you that we have updated the instructions for the S1.5 statistical report "EUR Interest Rate Information".
In order to take into account recent developments in interest rate fixation ranges, the BCL is required to refine the interest rate fixation ranges for new contracts in the S1.5 report. Consequently, the BCL subdivides the current "initial rate fixation exceeding 10 years" bracket for new mortgage loans contracted by households into several five-year brackets.
This measure will take effect with the December 2022 reporting.
Please accept, Madam, Sir, the assurance of our perfect consideration.
