Rule · BCRA · 21 Nov 2024 · A 8136
Effective December 2, 2024, the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic amends the consolidated regulations on Time Deposits and Investments and Financing to the Non-Financial Public Sector by updating interest rate references and Value at Risk (VaR) calculation parameters. The changes replace specific survey references (BADLAR, TAMAR) with updated BCRA-published rates and introduce new VaR formulas and weight tables for forward, futures, and swap operations involving various currencies and indices such as SOFR, SONIA, and CER. Financial entities are required to incorporate these adjustments into their consolidated texts and update their systems to comply with the new calculation methodologies and reporting requirements.
