Circular LISOL 1-1150 OPRAC 1-1316: Credit Policy. Minimum Capital of Financial Entities. Large Credit Risk Exposures. Adjustments

The Central Bank of the Republic of Argentina amends the Credit Policy text to introduce a new financing category for legal entities not covered by previous points, capped at 15% of the entity's foreign currency deposits. This new category is assigned the same treatment as existing provisions in section 2.2, requiring special attention to the debtor's cash flow and equity to ensure repayment capacity despite exchange rate fluctuations. For capital minimum requirements and large exposure calculations, the credit exposure for these financings is determined by multiplying the calculated amount by a factor of 1.25. The document also eliminates point 2.1.7 of the Credit Policy text.
