Rule · BCRA · 2 Aug 1999 · A 2966
Financial entities must deduct debts for fixed asset acquisitions not exceeding the asset’s residual value and advances received not exceeding that residual value. They must also deduct liabilities assumed with the National Treasury for deferred tax payments due to promotion regimes, up to one year after share availability restrictions expire. For financing to related clients, entities must use the higher of the month-end balance or the period’s highest amount, computing principal, interest, premiums, and quotation differences net of credit risk provisions and devaluation, without deducting 50% of the minimum required provision for normal portfolio debtors. This replaces Section 3 points 3.1.1 and 3.2 with effect from August 1999.
