The Central Bank of the Republic of Argentina temporarily reduces minimum liquidity requirements for financial entities for April 2001 by modifying Section 1 of the Minimum Liquidity Requirements norms. Specifically, it sets a uniform 18% rate for most demand deposits and short-term fixed deposits (up to 89 days), while applying an 80% rate to high-yield demand deposits and a 50% rate for investment fund placements. Additionally, effective April 1, 2001, it updates the computation rules in Section 2, establishing a daily minimum integration requirement of 75% of the previous month's total, which increases to 80% if a monthly deficiency was previously recorded.

"2.2. Computation.
The compliance with the integration of minimum liquidity requirements will be measured based on the monthly average of daily balances of the concepts admitted for such effect, registered during the same month to which the requirements correspond, dividing the sum of said balances by the total number of days of the period. On days where no movement is registered, the balance corresponding to the immediate preceding business day must be repeated.
On no day of the month, the sum of the balances of the admitted concepts, registered at the close of each day, may be less than 75% of the total requirement determined for the immediately preceding month, recalculated based on the requirements in force in the month to which the requirements correspond, without considering the effects of the application of what is provided in point 1.7.1. of Section 1.
This daily requirement will be 80% when in the previous computation period a deficiency of integration in monthly average higher than the admitted transfer margin has been registered."

2.2. Computation.
The compliance with the integration of minimum liquidity requirements will be measured based on the monthly average of daily balances of the concepts admitted for such effect, registered during the same month to which the requirements correspond, dividing the sum of said balances by the total number of days of the period.
This daily requirement will be 80% when in the previous computation period a deficiency of integration in monthly average higher than the admitted transfer margin has been registered.
2.3. Maximum computation limits.
The integration in the admitted concepts will only be computable up to the following maximum limits, measured with respect to the minimum requirement of each period:
| Concept | Maximum computable in % |
