Rule · BCRA · 8 Jan 2015 · A 5694
Locally systemically important financial entities (D-SIBs) must hold additional capital equal to 1% of risk-weighted assets, integrated exclusively with Common Equity Tier 1 capital. This requirement applies from January 1, 2016, though the gradual implementation schedule does not apply for solvency verification purposes starting August 1, 2015. Minimum capital defects arising solely from this additional requirement do not constitute non-compliance with the rules on Minimum Capital of Financial Entities, except under specific subsections.
