Circular Monetary Regulations - REMON 1 - 55. Special Loan Limit (Circular REMON 1 - 23)

Financial entities must integrate the loan line into seven sub-limits adjusted by National Institute of Statistics and Censuses indices, charging each with respective correction clauses. The line may exceed or fall below the monthly average of daily balances of fixed-term nominative non-transferable deposits adjustable in the medium term by up to 3%, or without limitation. Until September 1982, excesses of up to 10% are admitted. Entities must pay a 0.50% monthly charge on amounts exceeding limits, while deducting 0.25% monthly from interest resulting from Circular REMON - 1 - 27 rates for amounts where deposit averages exceed loan utilization. This replaces Circular REMON - 1 - 23 and 36, effective August 1, 1982.
