The Central Bank of the Republic Argentina mandates that loan contracts subject to monetary correction clauses must include provisions requiring borrowers to cover any differences between the contractual adjustment index and a recalculation based on the General Wholesale Price Index in cases of early repayment. This requirement applies specifically to extraordinary, partial, or total payments made during the first year of the loan's validity. Financial entities are required to transfer the resulting amounts entirely to the Central Bank.
