1992-09-23 | Circular 2230Added
The Central Bank of Brazil establishes that the regulations in Circular No. 2,196 govern the formation and operation of motorcycle-referenced consortium groups. It imposes tiered caps on the total number of unsubscribed or undelivered motorcycle quotas, ranging from 500 to 8,000 based on administrator classification levels. The circular cancels previously authorized motorcycle quotas, except for active subscriptions and vacancies from excluded or withdrawing members, and revokes Circulars No. 2,157 and No. 2,198.
