Circular No. 2652 — Establishes the Credit Document - DOC "E" and defines rules for the electronic processing of credit transfers

Establishes the Credit Document - DOC, model "E", per model CADOC 24.055-0, for credit transfers in general, while model "C" may be used while stocks last. From the clearing movement of 02.01.96, DOC models "C" and "E" accepted in the Integrated Regional Clearing System (SIRC) of São Paulo (SP) must be processed via electronic clearing, with documents in logical files kept by remitting banks as faithful depositaries for 60 days from the exchange session, microfilming permitted, after which they may be destroyed. The Department of Banking Operations is authorized to issue complementary rules and may set a schedule for expanding the system to other locations. The Circular enters into force on the date of its publication.
