Amends provisions of Circular
No. 2,684, of May 9, 1996.

The Executive Board of the Central Bank of Brazil, in a session held on April 23, 1998, based on Article 33 of Law No. 8,177, of March 1, 1991,

DECIDED:

Art. 1. Amend Article 3, sole paragraph, of Circular No. 2,684, of May 9, 1996, which shall enter into force with the following wording:

"Art. 3. ...

"Sole paragraph. The operational limit referred to in the main text of this article is 30% (thirty percent) in the case of an administrator linked, directly or indirectly, to a manufacturer of motorcycles or mopeds."

Art. 2. This Circular enters into force on the date of its publication.
