CIRCULAR N. 002837 ------------------ Authorizes the carrying out of repurchase operations having as their object the Notes of the Central Bank of Brazil that it mentions. The Collegiate Board of the Central Bank of Brazil, in a session held on 16.09.98, based on art. 3 of the Regulation annexed to Resolution No. 1.088, of 30.01.86, D E C I D E D: Art. 1 Establish that, in addition to the Notes of the Central Bank of Brazil (NBC) instituted by Resolution No. 1.841, of 16.07.91, the Notes of the Central Bank of Brazil - Special Series (NBCE) and the Notes of the Central Bank of Brazil - Floating Series (NBCF), created by Resolutions Nos. 2.043, of 13.01.94, and 2.545, of 09.09.98, respectively, may be the object of repurchase operations referred to in the Regulation annexed to Resolution No. 1.088, of 30.01.86. Art. 2 This Circular enters into force on the date of its publication. Art. 3 Circular No. 2.004, of 08.08.91, is revoked.
