CIRCULAR N. 002849 ------------------ Extends the term of the period of validity of the temporary reduction of the base amount for the granting of financial assistance to multiple banks with commercial portfolios, commercial banks and savings banks. The Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Brazil, in a session held on 11.11.98, based on art. 5 of Resolution No. 2.308, of 28.08.96, D E C I D E D: Art. 1 Extend, from 11.11.98 to 16.12.98, the term of the period of validity of the temporary reduction by 100% (one hundred percent) of the base amount of financial assistance operations, calculated as established by Resolution No. 2.308 and Circular No. 2.712, both of 28.08.96.
