Circular No. 3392 — Amends Article 13 of the Regulation Annexed to Circular 3,057 of August 31, 2001

CIRCULAR N. 003392

Amends Article 13 of the regulation annexed to Circular 3,057 of August 31, 2001.

The Collective Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Brazil, in a session held on June 24, 2008, having regard to the provisions of Law No. 10,214 of March 27, 2001, and Article 11 of Resolution No. 2,882 of August 30, 2001,

DECIDED:

Art. 1 Add item III and amend paragraph 1 of Article 13 of the regulation annexed to Circular No. 3,057 of August 31, 2001, which shall enter into force with the following wording:

"III - to the settlement of financial obligations with the Central Bank of Brazil.

Paragraph 1 Movements are accepted in the titular accounts held by the entities referred to in the main text, exclusively:

I - to credit, in counterpart to a debit commanded by the holder of a Bank Reserves account or by the Central Bank of Brazil;

II - to debit, commanded by the holder, in counterpart to a credit to a Bank Reserves account or to the benefit of the Central Bank of Brazil."

Art. 2 This circular enters into force on the date of its publication.
