Circular No. 35/2026/TT-NHNN dated July 1, 2026, amending and supplementing certain articles of Circulars on documentary credit and banking guarantee operations and guiding the implementation of certain credit programs due to the renaming of units under the State Bank of Vietnam
The Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam issued Circular No. 35/2026/TT-NHNN to update references to internal departments across multiple existing circulars governing housing support loans, agricultural risk reduction, fisheries, forestry, and banking guarantees. This amendment replaces the former name "Department of Economic Sector Credit" with "Department of Credit" and updates other departmental titles to reflect recent organizational restructuring within the State Bank of Vietnam. The circular also amends the implementation clause of Circular No. 17/2022/TT-NHNN regarding environmental risk management and officially repeals Article 2 of Circular No. 85/2025/TT-NHNN, taking effect on July 1, 2026.
