The circular mandates the use of specific foreign currency and precious metal exchange rates as of December 31, 2024, for valuation purposes. Companies must also submit detailed reports on their top five markets for both receiving and issuing remittances, including transaction volumes, revenues, and average commission rates. Failure to comply subjects the entities to penalties under Article 26 of the Exchange Business Law No. 44 of 2015.

Greetings,
Based on the provisions of Article (22/b) of Exchange Business Law No. (44) of 2015, we would like to remind you of the necessity to provide us with your company's final data for the year 2024 in a formal manner that adheres to International Financial Reporting Standards. This data must include all clarifications related to it and align with the requirements of Article (6) of the Instructions for Documenting Exchange Transactions, Retaining Them, Keeping Records and Accounts, and Preparing Financial Statements No. (2023/11), issued pursuant to the decision of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Jordan No. (2023/226) dated 28 September 2023, based on the provisions of Article (21) of the current Exchange Business Law and Circular No. dated 8 October 2023.
The deadline for submission is no later than the end of March.
We emphasize the importance of full compliance with the above; otherwise, your company will be subject to the penalties stipulated in Article (26) of Exchange Business Law No. (44) of 2015.
