Subject: Forms for the Instructions on Financial Soundness Indicators and Their Limits for Exchange Companies

Greetings,

With reference to the Instructions on Financial Soundness Indicators and Their Limits No. (2/9/19549) dated 2023/11/15 and its attached statistical forms for those instructions, we wish to emphasize the following:

  1. Provide us with the aforementioned forms on a monthly basis starting from the data for the month of (12/2023), no later than the tenth day of the month following the end of the period covered by that report.
  2. Provide us with the data in (Excel) and (pdf) formats - and they must be signed by the authorized signatories of the company - to the email address of the Financial Statistics Department (statistics@cbj.gov.jo). Note that the forms have been published in (Excel) format at the following link:

  3.   4. Fill in the form data in Jordanian Dinars.
  5. Evaluate balances of assets and liabilities in foreign currencies and precious metals in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards and in a manner consistent with the valuation of those assets and liabilities in other statistical reports.
