Subject: Official Holiday in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

Following the Palestine Monetary Authority Circular No. (2024/133) dated 2024/12/24, and in light of the suspension of the Central Bank of Jordan and banks operating in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on Tuesday, 2025/06/10, in observance of the blessed Eid al-Adha holiday, the following has been decided:

1. All banks must commit to suspending the execution of external transfer requests and funding notifications in Jordanian Dinar on the aforementioned day, while internal settlement operations continue as usual.
2. All necessary measures must be taken to ensure the coverage of any deficit in Jordanian Dinar settlement accounts resulting from netting operations through the Interbank Market, no later than 11:00 AM.

The Palestine Monetary Authority reserves the right to reverse and cancel external transfer requests and funding notifications sent in Jordanian Dinar if received in violation of this Circular, without recourse to the bank executing the transaction.
