Interim Decision No. 13503
Amending Basic Decision No. 7858 dated June 30, 2001 The Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon, pursuant to Law No. 146 on Monetary and Banking Affairs, particularly Article 7858 dated June 30, 2001 and its amendments regarding statistical data; pursuant to Basic Decision No. 7858 dated June 30, 2001 and its amendments; and pursuant to the Central Council Decision of the Central Bank of Lebanon taken in its meeting held on November 23, 2022, has decided as follows:

Article 1: The first paragraph of Article 1 of Basic Decision No. 7858 dated June 30, 2001 is repealed and replaced by the following paragraph:
"All banks shall provide the Statistics and Economic Research Department with data forms (-3A, -4A, -5A, -6A, -1INV, -2INV, -1PFO, -2PFO, and -3PFO) attached to this decision."

Article 2: The paragraph (9) of Article 2 of Basic Decision No. 7858 dated June 30, 2001 is repealed and replaced by the following paragraph:
"The data forms (-3A, -4A, -5A, -6A, -1INV, -2INV, -1PFO, -2PFO, and -3PFO) referred to in the first paragraph of Article 1 of this decision shall be submitted, via the designated intermediary, within a maximum period of ten days from the end of the reporting month, through electronic submission of statistical reports (eSTR) within the SEBIL system."

Article 3: This decision takes effect as of November 25, 2022 (suspended status date).
Article 4: This decision is published in the Official Gazette.
