Circular on Expiry of Transitory Period for Minimum Capital Requirements under Trust and Trustees Act
The Malta Financial Services Authority notifies authorised trustees and fiduciary service providers that the two-year transitory period for complying with the €15,000 minimum capital requirement under the Trust and Trustees (Amendment) Act expires on 25 April 2016. Consequently, authorised companies must submit changes to their Memorandum and Articles of Association for approval by 29 January 2016.
