The Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago mandates that external auditor reports on combating money laundering and terrorist financing be submitted within four months of the entity's financial year end. This directive applies to all insurance companies and other financial institutions regulated by the Central Bank under the Financial Obligation Regulations, 2010. The Circular also requires institutions that have not yet submitted their 2009 external auditor's report to rectify this omission immediately.
